Supply Vision, a technology company providing Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to the supply chain industry, has begun operations

Supply Vision's product and services are focused on domestic and international logistics providers in the US and Canada

The company is currently exploring several acquisition targets, and has investors and a management team that understands the complex software needs of the logistics marketplace

Chief operating officer Mike Powell said: "Based on current software offerings and a move towards cloud computing, we see an opportunity to develop a robust yet easy to use suite of pure web-based applications"

He commented that software providers targeting this industry have not been able to satisfy the needs of the market and are not addressing this growing trend Supply Vision, however, is preparing to provide services and technology that its 3PL customers require to satisfy the supply chain visibility demands of their shippers

Supply Vision is currently engaging in early-stage technology discussions with logistics providers looking for a fresh approach to technology solutions
