DoorDash teaming with restaurant tech company Revention to offer on-demand logistics services

Revention Point of Sale (POS) is integrating DoorDash for last-mile logistics services

Revention, a major provider of restaurant ordering and management solutions, is partnering with DoorDash, a last-mile logistics platform that has a presence in more than 4,000 cities in the United States and Canada. This partnership will offer on-demand logistics to Revention customers or supplement existing delivery operations to accommodate for peak times, unexpected surges in orders, downtime, and service outside of standard areas.

In a press release, DoorDash said the “Partnership will significantly expand operational efficiencies for restaurateurs, with potential benefits including supply fulfillment, last-mile logistics, and cost reductions.”

Rahul Bakshi, Vice President of Products and Marketing at Revention said that "The combination of our industry-leading POS and mobile & online ordering solution with the integration of DoorDash uniquely positions us to provide a scalable and comprehensive solution from the order to the customer's front door. Whether you are an independent operator or a national franchise, we are offering businesses a solution to grow more efficiently.”

"We share in Revention's commitment to empower local businesses by providing them with on-demand access to DoorDash's strong logistics platform," said Casey North, DoorDash's Vice President of Drive. "This partnership will enable us to further offer scalable, quality services that will help restaurants build their brand, engage their customer base, and increase sales outside their four walls."
