eyefortransport has just released an inforgraphic looking at Asia’s changing dynamics, and the impact on the regional hi-tech industry.
Using data expressed in easy to read graphics and charts, the infographic explores the ‘how’ and ‘degree’ of change being affected in the APAC region and some of the potential impact on the hi-tech industry including a look at:
· Hi-tech goods and services exports and imports to the region
· Foreign investment flows to the region
· The size and potential growth of Asia’s Middle Class
· Hi-tech product consumption in the region
The resulting graph represents an easily digestible overview of the region’s dynamics and an indicator of the challenges and opportunities for the hi-tech industry and its supply chain for the years to come.
The infographic was built in conjunction with the upcoming APAC Hi-tech and Electronics Supply Chain Summits taking place in Singapore – October 28-29 and Hong Kong October 31 – November 1 which will be focussing on the theme of Asia’s future competitiveness and the impact this will have on the hi-tech supply chain.
The events bring together around 100 top hi-tech and electronic supply chain executives to discuss, in a highly interactive, niche and high-level learning and networking environment, the key issues in hi-tech supply chain in Asia today. The events are set to welcome senior hi-tech executives from such companies as nVidia, Applied Materials, Flextronics, Wal-mart, Jabra, Nokia, NSN, Philips and many more.
