Kingfisher Airlines launches Kingfisher Xpress

Kingfisher Airlines has announced the launch of Kingfisher Xpress, India's first same-day door-to-door cargo delivery service

Kingfisher Xpress Same Day service offers a pick-up facility in the six main metropolitan cities of India: Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata

The service carries a money-back guaranteed of same-day delivery in up to eighteen cities: Bagdogra, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Kochi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Raipur, Ranchi, Lucknow, Nagpur, Pune and Srinagar

Kingfisher Xpress options include:

  • Door-to-airport (DTA) - pickup of shipments from the shipper's door and delivery at the destination airport to the shipper's authorised representative
  • Airport-to-door (ATD) - delivery at the nearest airport of the shipper's choice and the option of final delivery across Kingfisher Xpress network
  • Counter-to-counter (CTC) - drop-off at the nearest Kingfisher Xpress centre for delivery to a Kingfisher Xpress centre in the destination city

According to Kingfisher's vice president of corporate communications, Prakash Mirpuri, the airline will also offer a next-day delivery service across twenty cities in India
