Hanjin Shipping has proposed that it will now order or lease eco-friendly containers, and plans to change all of its existing containers into eco-friendly units as part of the company's green management policy
The company expects that these eco-friendly containers also save costs as they are free from environmental regulations when being disposed after more than ten years
Meanwhile, Hanjin Shipping will continue its green management, which includes eco-steaming the the recent development of a CO2 emission calculator on its website where customers can calculate the amount of CO2 emissions according to their cargo and destinations
