APM Terminals Aarhus and Cargo Service have agreed to combine their two facilities into one port complex, enabling the two neighbouring companies to exploit operational synergies through the improved use of land, equipment and buildings

The new company will be called APM Terminals Cargo Service, and will be able to offer customers one long contiguous deepwater berth and one set of truck gates

Cargo Service Holding will continue as an independent company with a range of activities in Aarhus, including handling of project and heavy duty cargo

The integration begin this month, and is expected to be complete by end-2010
