The Disrupt Logistics Hackathon taking place June 20th in conjunction with the 3PL Summit and Chief Supply Chain Officer Forum is set to feature mentorship from JB Hunt, Kenco Innovation Labs and Hughenden Consulting.

In an effort to help push innovation in logistics while promoting and nurturing talent in the industry, eft set out to tackle the conundrum: 'How are logistics companies going to innovate to drive business in 2016 and beyond?' The aim of the Disrupt Logistics Hackathon is to bring together some of the brightest rising talent at the industry's premier event - the 3PL Summit and Chief Supply Chain Officer Forum to provide some innovative solutions to this problem.

Eric McGee, SVP Transportation at JB Hunt, Kristi Montgomery, VP Innovation, Research and Development for Kenco Innovation Labs, John Golob, CEO, Lanetix and Hugh Williams, MD Hughenden Consulting will be providing mentorship to the teams competing in the hackathon.

‘The role of the mentor is really to share their years of industry experience with teams to ensure they are considering all aspects of the problem at hand.’ Said Haley Garner, Head of Content and Research at eft. ‘We are really excited to welcome Eric, Kristi, Hugh and John to our mentorship group; they represent the perfect mix of experience and innovative leadership from the industry to help drive our Hackathon competitors.’
