Competitors from XPO, Caterpillar, CEVA all join Disrupt Logistics Europe Hackathon

eft is excited to welcome competitors from the likes of XPO Logistics, Caterpillar and CEVA to its European Disrupt Logistics Hackathon

Currently talent and innovation are both drawing significant attention as the industry looks to modernize. In response, eft developed the Disrupt Logistics Hackathon: to help address industry-critical challenges while helping draw talent from younger generations into supply chain.

‘eft is really excited to welcome up and coming supply chain talent from some of the major movers and shakers in the industry at present.’ Said Haley Garner, Head of Research and Content at eft.

Featuring 6 teams of up and coming supply chain and logistics talent, the hackathoners aim to create an innovative product, service or solution that a logistics provider can offer a manufacturer or a retailer. Ideas at the incumbent hackathon ranged from chatbots to AI-driven routing with the winning idea looking to solve last-mile delivery parking.
