Cargotec has opened a new facility at Tukang Innovation Park, one of the first companies to set up an office, warehouse and workshop facility at the newly re-branded industrial estate in Western Singapore.
The new 17,721 m2 four-storey facility will house operations that cover Cargotec brands including Hiab, Kalmar, MacGregor and Bromma under one roof, and was designed to accommodate future expansion.
The new building will be a convenient one-stop sales and service centre for its customers in Singapore and around the region.
According to Cargotec president & CEO Mikael Mäkinen, the Asia-Pacific region has been identified as a key growth area, which accounted for more than one-third of the company's total sales last year.
