Amerijet to operate Boeing 767-200 freighters

Mar 2, 2009

Amerijet International has signed a seven-year agreement with Cargo Aircraft Management (CAM) to lease five Boeing 767-200 freighter aircraft.

The 767s will enable the airline to increase capacity on its scheduled service routes and expand its charter availability.

According to Pam Rollins, senior vice president of business development, Amerijet plans to increase frequencies to several markets and potentially add new long-haul routes.

The carrier's current fleet of eight Boeing 727-200s are deployed on scheduled and charter flights, to points in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America.
