trans-o-flex ThermoMed acquires Rhenus Life Sciences

trans-o-flex ThermoMed has acquired Rhenus Life Sciences from the Rhenus Group, effective today

Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed

Both companies specialise in the transport of temperature-sensitive shipments for the healthcare industry

According to trans-o-flex ThermoMed's managing director Wolfgang Weber, ThermoMed has, to date, specialised in temperature controlled shipments the 2°C to -8°C range, while trans-o-flex focused its activities on combi-freight solutions

With the takeover of Rhenus Life Sciences, the company will extend the service for temperature controlled shipments between 15°C and 25°C within the trans-o-flex Logistics Group
