NRS will offer its Vendor Direct Logistics service to China-based retail suppliers, enabling Chinese manufacturers to create vendor-controlled inventory management solutions for retailers in the US
The service includes China transportation services, value-added services, consolidation, freight forwarding, customs clearance, pier drayage, warehousing and distribution
All services are provided by SinoNRS in China and NRS in the US
According to NRS vice president of international operations, Jonathan Hoch, origin logistics and distribution management in the US will increasingly come under the control of manufacturers looking to gain the competitive edge with retailers
"With SinoNRS, we have the infrastructure, the assets and the expertise to deliver integrated end-to-end vendor-controlled inventory management," said Hoch
