GEFCO Spain
GEFCO Spain has developed a new service for the two-wheelers sector The service will transport mopeds and motorbikes, with or without packaging depending on customer needs
The new service will ensure greater flexibility and lower costs for customers, whilst the packaging-free option adheres to GEFCO's environmental policy
GEFCO also provides value-added services, including mechanical inspections, repairs, cleaning and fuel tank fill-ups, carried out at the GEFCO centres in Madrid and Barcelona
The vehicles will be distributed door-to-door from customer production centres located predominantly in the Far East to Europe and South America
GEFCO Spain has also renewed its contract agreement with food retailer DIA for another three years
As well handling domestic logistics, transport and distribution services for the retailer, GEFCO will also manage the consolidation of dry goods at the Ontigola logistics platform

GEFCO Romania has developed a new door-to-door logistics solution for sports goods importer Anaka
GEFCO will manage inbound flows from the UK and France to Romania, and the service includes order preparation (inspection, labelling and packaging for 600 line items), warehousing and delivery to retailers
GEFCO has set up a dedicated team to carry out value-added operations, and plans to rollout a new online order management service in the near future

GEFCO's German subsidiary has been awarded ISO 14001 certification for all of its activities
All relevant factors, such as water and energy consumption, were taken into account during the certification period
GEFCO Portugal
GEFCO Portugal has received its Authorised Agent certification from the Portuguese National Institute of Civil Aviation, INAC,
The certification recognises that GEFCO adheres to the requirements set by the law and by the National Authority of Civil Aviation Safety on airfreight safety
