M+R Spedag expands into India

M+R Spedag Group is integrating PL Shipping & Logistics into its group of companies

Effective September 1st, PL Shipping & Logistics has become an integral part of the M+R Spedag Group

This strategic acquisition gives M+R Spedag access to the fast growing Indian market, creating synergies for both entities

There will be no changes in the organisational structure of PL Shipping & Logistics, with Ramkumar continuing as managing director, Jayaram as chief operating officer, and Daniel Richner taking over as chairman

The company will continue to exist under the same name for the next few months and the initial period will be used for the integration of the two organisations
