Choice has served as the service parts logistics partner for Hitachi Data Systems in North America and other regions of the world since 2001 The company has replaced a major international logistics provider to secure the entire EMEA account
Choice transitioned inventory and integrated HDS EMEA into its distribution network within ten weeks This included several markets that were added after the initial launch
Choice also managed the transfer of complex import and export documentation from the previous provider, and assumed responsibility for service parts customs compliance
Choice currently manages mission-critical service parts logistics for Hitachi Data Systems EMEA in approximately forty cities across 26 countries: Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, the UAE and UK
Earlier this year, Choice announced a total of 107 new strategic stocking locations (SSL) throughout Western, Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the Middle East, and opened a new regional distribution hub in Dubai
Choice now has a total of 400 SSLs worldwide and can activate 200 additional markets on-demand
