Gothenburg-based Greencarrier has opened its first office in Denmark, with the renaming of the recently acquired NTN Denmark
Operating as Greencarrier Denmark, the company is based in Copenhagen where it has offices in Herlev and Glostrup
Greencarrier has been expanding its presence throughout Scandinavia and the Baltic region, and the creation of Greencarrier Denmark fills an important gap in its coverage Greencarrier is active in the sea, air and road freight sectors and is particularly strong in the trades to and from Asia
Established in 1994, Greencarrier is present in eight Scandinavian and Baltic countries: Sweden, Finland, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine and now Denmark It also has offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai
NTN Denmark was one of sixteen companies acquired at the end of December last year by Greencarrier's parent company, the BjörkEklund Group All 16 had been part of the Norwegian Transport Network Group
Another of the sixteen companies acquired from NTN in December, Oslo-based Schianders Intersped, has also become part of Greencarrier Specialising in road transport, distribution and warehousing, it will temporarily adopt the name Greencarrier Intersped until later this year when it will be merged into Greencarrier Norway
