Four-way merger forms United Vision Logistics

US Gulf Coast-based Ace Transportation, Dynasty Transportation, Texas Hot Shot Co and Venture Transport are consolidating their competencies and experience to become a new powerhouse in the transportation services industry

The board of directors for Vision Logistics Holding has announced that the new company is now known as United Vision Logistics

United Vision Logistics provides transportation services for a variety of customers, and has a predominate presence in the energy industry

Since purchasing the four legacy companies between July 2007 and April 2008, New York-based private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe has been working to integrate them into one company

Headquartered in Lafayette, Lousiana, United Vision Logistics has a large density of terminals and capacity in both Louisiana and Texas in support of its energy customers The company also maintains general commodities terminals and truck brokerage operations across the US United Vision Logistics will continue to operate out of its existing terminal locations

The company operates using an owner-operator business model with more than 2,800 owner-operators, 130 terminals, and nearly 400 employees
