FedEx Freight has entered into an agreement with Vision Industries to test a tractor powered by Vision's zero emission electric/hydrogen hybrid TyranoTM drive train
As part of the agreement, Vision Industries will configure the FedEx Freight tractor, which will then be tested for one year in certain operations to evaluate the operational suitability of the Vision TyranoTM technology
According to Douglas Duncan, president & CEO of FedEx Freight, the company's goal is to be involved in projects such as this to further the advancement of alternative fuels
