DHL Global Forwarding Americas region is taking the company's GoGreen policy to the next level by expanding its paper recycling activities to include other products

While Deutsche Post DHL's corporate Paper Policy is intended to minimise the company's environmental impact, the Americas DHL Global Forwarding GoGreen function is now expanding its alignment to the policy by including a range of other goods

The GoGreen program is part of the Deutsche Post DHL's Strategy 2015, and one of its main objectives is the reduction of the company's CO₂ emissions

Aimed at reducing paper consumption throughout the entire company, the newly initiated global Paper Policy, targeted across 220 countries and territories, requires preference be given to the procurement of recycled paper over any other type of paper This applies to all paper and paper-based products

The DHL Global Forwarding Americas team is now encouraging employees to recycle, re-use and minimise waste, not only of paper, but also office furniture and other items
