Conference Debrief Released: 3PL Summit & CSCO Forum Amsterdam, 2013

After the extremely successful European 3PL Summit and CSCO Forum in November, eft has produced its first conference de-brief

The 3PL Summit and CSCO Forum held in Amsterdam on November 13th and 14th brought together the European 3PL elite and their customers. This debrief will allow you to relive the conference, if you were lucky enough to join, or let you experience it for the first time…

In this snapshot you can read all about the ‘3PL and Customer Relationship’, and follow the debate about the reasoning behind shorter term contracts and where the lack of innovation is coming from.

Another interesting highlight focusses on the omnichannel retail discussion in which Frost and Sullivan predicted there would be “80 billion connected devices by 2025”. The panel than analysed what that would mean for retailers and the audience was asked to share their view in a live polling session.

Furthermore, the women in logistics session ignited a lively debate, and opinions were freely shared under eft’s twitter hash tag ‘#3PLEU’

“This debrief is just a small snapshot of the fantastic discussion that was generated at this year’s European 3PL Summit & CSCO Forum. It provides some great insight into a number of the key trends that logistics and supply chain executives are facing , with discerning observations from the industry elite.” Sophie Farrow, Event Director.
