CEVA and DHL announce new contracts

Rui Star Trading awards ZAR14 million contract to CEVA in South Africa; Stretchy Shapes appoints DHL as its exclusive international express delivery provider

CEVA Logistics has signed a new contract worth ZAR14 million (approx €14 million) per year with Rui Star Trading, a mining company focusing on the carbon and iron trade

CEVA will take charge of the ocean export of chrome ore concentrate from South Africa to the Far East, managing 4,600 TEU of product every year, averaging 20,000 tons per month

CEVA will also transport Rui Star Trading's material by ground and store it in a depot facility located in Johannesburg, South Africa

DHL is now the exclusive international express delivery provider for Alabama, US-based Stretchy Shapes DHL will help the company to cut as much as 75% off transit time for its shipments of children's bracelets imported from Asia to the US

Stretchy Shapes original distribution process involved a forwarding agent, resulting in a delivery time of eight to twelve days from factories in China to the company's US warehouse DHL has reduced that delivery cycle to an average of two to three days

Stretchy Shapes currently ships around 36 million bracelets per week to retailers and distributors across the US, and the company is expanding its current product line of silicone-based products to additional outlets in the US and new international markets
