Barry Callebaut appoints Damco in Ghana
Damco has been selected as the logistics provider to Ghana-based cocoa producer, Barry Callebaut
Under the agreement, Damco will provide trucking, customs clearance and airfreight services
With this Barry Callebaut agreement, Damco now manages the logistics services for three of Ghana's top four cocoa processing companies
Barry Callebaut exports some around 2,500 TEU of product every year to its main markets in Europe (France, Belgium, Italy, Poland and Switzerland), Asia, and the US and Canada
