FlexLink extends supply chain management agreement with Kuehne + Nagel
FlexLink has extended the contract with Kuehne + Nagel as its exclusive logistics and transport service provider for the next two years.
Within the scope of the cooperation, which started in 2012, Kuehne + Nagel will continue to manage all international transports for FlexLink from their global hub in Poznan. The company will provide air and sea transportation services to more than 30 destinations worldwide, as well as part load and groupage overland services across Europe. The agreement also includes all customs clearances and thus covers the entire logistics needs of FlexLink and its customers from door-to-door.
Svante Anderholm, Chief Operations Officer of FlexLink, summarises: “We are highly satisfied with our logistics partnership with Kuehne + Nagel over the last two years, serving our global partner network in over 60 countries. Therefore we are looking forward to continuing the cooperation and are confident to achieve further supply chain optimisations. For the future we are also envisaging to transfer selective parts of our contract logistics needs to Kuehne + Nagel.”
Tobias Jerschke, National Manager of Kuehne + Nagel in Poland, explains: “Our cooperation with FlexLink is a good example of how integrated logistics from a single source adds value to our customer’s supply chain. Based on our experience and high quality service we are sure that the extended cooperation will lead to further increases in FlexLink’s efficiency.”
